Eagles Trying to Move Up

Report coming from ESPN has the Eagles looking to move from 19 to the 10-15 range in the first round of the draft. Ummm, yes please.

Bills swap with Eagles. Get Sheppard. Then draft a wide receiver. That's probably a fantasy as the Bills a) would have to throw in a second rounder at least and b) pay Sheppard more money than they want to.

Nevertheless. It's out there.

Comments:
no way the bills will fork over that kind of dough for shep...oh man, the kid kept me up all night...i'm going to need multiple cups of coffee before i can even consider putting up with kiper's yapping...

did you see that espn intro to the draft? looked like minority report shot in a century twenty-one office...not impressed...

Kiper's yapping? Trying staring at his hair for 10 hours. Oi.

I guess it depends on whether the 'brain trust' thinks this is a win now draft or continue to build draft.

If its a win now draft, get the proven cornerback and then pick up a WR later without giving up too much.

If its a continue to build draft, they should just take a corner with the #11 pick and let him develop.

You're absolutely right.

Taking a WR in the #11 spot doesn't do us any good now. So those "win now" folks who think Devin Thomas (who is labeled as a project by most experts) is the answer, will be disappointed. Not saying dude won't be good in a couple years, though. Who knows?

Bennett
When he's not writing, or cringing over a rank diaper, you can find Bennett in his LA backyard with a six pack of PBR, ruminating on today's most significant issues, such as how does Magic Shell ice cream topping really work, what happened to Darick Holmes, and why does Bennett's cat insist on crapping in the bathtub.

Riley
After spending three years in soccer-loving country, Riley craves his Bills fix. Every Sunday you can find him at McFadden's in DC.
