Monday, March 09, 2009T.O. Buffalo Bound!![]() 2) While the Bills limped to a last place finish in the AFC East last season, Riley managed to squeak out a draw with Bennett on their friendly, season-long wager. The brothers recap the end of last season. ![]() 4) Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch got arrested for carrying a concealed (and loaded) fire arm. Riley's pissed, and convinced the star running back is looking at a four game suspension. Bennett just wonders why the guy was carrying a piece in one of the least dangerous places in Los Angeles. ![]() 6) No March podcast would be complete without a little Sabres talk, as the "other team" in Buffalo makes a push for the playoffs. With no Ryan Miller, a wired up Thomas Vanek, and no big moves before the deadline, it's not looking good for Lindy's crew.
Comments:
Chuck--Us or Mr. Owens? I'd probably agree on both counts. But as a fan I'm so tired of watching boring teams. If this makes the team at least interesting, another losing season may be more palatable. Ask me in December.
Andrew--Yeah, it's been a while. I think we sometimes forget that folks besides our parents actually listen to us. We love comments. Gives us a sense that folks are listening and gets us off our rears.
Riley - come on man, you're a fucking lawyer? I hope I'm never counting on your critical thinking skills to get my ass out of the 'pinata pen'.
The Canadian investment team pulled the trigger on this deal. They paid what, $85 million to get the NFL - albeit two games a year for what - five years - these 'Nucks are looking for a little ROI on this deal. Ralph just grabbed his ankles. Even the coaching staff had no idea about this signing. It's a fucking joke. The podcasts are great - well scripted and you two twats do a great job at making it all sound fresh and impromptu. Andrew is a cousin fucker.
Actually, Chuck, we don't do very much scripting. I've usually got some bullet points in front of me and the stats I want to use and I think Bennett does the same. More than a few times we've just had the topic list in front of us. Early on we scripted stuff a little more, but not recently.
I think the Canadian parties are happy about this one, but I doubt it was their call. I mean, you've gotta please your stakeholders but no more than that. The whole Edward texting at midnight bit was too good to make up. As for Ralph, he's the same age as my grandfather. I love the guy (grandfather, not Ralph), but I doubt he'd be making any serious football decisions. Lucky for you I'm not too interest in white collar crime. Best stay away from those accounting books. I'd hate for someone to Enron your ass.
Further proof that the Canadians forced the TO trade.

now that motherfucker knows his shit - follow the money.
ralphie must be a republicunt cause he's leaving a trail of slime all the way to Toronto. I'm already envisioning the TO/Toronto marketing campaign. You guys can't see the obvious hack job here?
10k ticket requests received within days of TO signing.
